Rams lose to seahawks 27-17:
Article by: BRANDON ADKINS, bandbrams.com
The St. Louis Rams fall to the Seattle Seahawks on sunday at the edward jones dome. With Jackson playing after missing practice all week due to back spasms still cannot help the team pull out a win. This will make the 10th straight loss to the seahawks and the 11th straight home loss. In the monday press conference spagnuolo stated: "We will stick with the process and the get the football part right" spags said.

As the rams hosted the seahawks in the dome on sunday it was the lowest crowd attendance in 15 years in St. Louis, with only 47,475 fans. With the offensive line shuffling around after C Jason Brown goes down with a leg injury things continued to get worse for the rams. As Kyle Boller had a fourth and 4 pass from the Seattle 34 tipped by Seattle's Kelly Jennings and returned 65-yards for a touchdown by Seahawks cornerback Josh Wilson with 1:38 left in the second quarter.

Boller was hit 13 times and sacked four times by the seattle defense and the seahawks took a 7-0 lead with an eight-play, 64-yard drive that was capped by Forsett's 3-yard touchdown run. As the seahawks kept tacking on points to the board rams fans could just watch in a horrible display of football. Besides a 1-yard td catch to avery from boller, the rams had a 17-yard pass to seattle's 1-yard line with steven jackson topping it off with a 1-yard td run with 44 seconds left in the game. With the final score 27-17 seahawks let's hope the Rams can somehow bounce back and get at a couple of more wins before the season is over.

Rams will rebound and pull through:
Article by: Associated Press, stlnews
St. Louis Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo believes players are still listening to his message and staying upbeat despite the team's 1-10 record. But he won't deny a day off Tuesday will be beneficial.

Spagnuolo plans on sticking with his game plan the rest of the way for a rebuilding franchise that's 6-37 the last three seasons. He's counting on veteran team leaders to step up and show character the last five games. The coach said the true test of players' continuing commitment will come Wednesday when the team returns to practice in preparation for Sunday's game at Chicago. He also realizes the importance of getting away from the game, especially since there's been so little payback for players' efforts.

Rams fall - this is getting ridiculous:
Article by: JIM THOMAS, stltoday.com
Of their four turnovers Sunday, St. Louis' offense had three inside the Minnesota 10 against a Vikings defense regarded as one of the league's best. The Rams have now committed 10 turnovers in the past three games and have been minus 3 in all three contests in takeaway-giveaway differential.

The first St. Louis turnover Sunday came on just the Rams' fifth offensive play of the game. Minnesota defensive tackle Kevin Williams raced past an attempted block by Richie Incognito to sack Boller. But before Williams even got there, Boller delivered an air ball. The ball slipped out of Boller's hands — coming out before his arm was going forward. So it was a fumble, not an incomplete pass. Allen scooped up the ball and raced 52 yards for a TD, giving Minnesota a 14-0 lead just seven minutes into the game.

On second and 6 from the Minnesota 8 late in the second quarter, Boller completed a pass to tight end Daniel Fells inside the 5. But Vikes linebacker Chad Greenway popped Fells from behind, the ball popped out, and fellow linebacker E.J. Henderson recovered at the 2. "It's just amazing our luck now," defensive end Leonard Little said. "We don't seem to get any breaks. You're supposed to make your own breaks, but this is a hard-working team. We work hard every week in practice. And we're just not putting it together on Sunday. I don't know."

Rams dealing with injuries:
Article by: JIM THOMAS, stltoday.com
Coach Steve Spagnuolo entered the week hoping for a little luck on the injury front. "We do have to get healthy," he said Monday. "We've got some guys that are banged up. We need to get some guys back."

Among the walking wounded, cornerback Ron Bartell (thigh) and Dahl appear the most ready to play Sunday ... just in time for Brett Favre. "It feels 10 times better — the week off really helped," said Bartell, who missed his first game since high school Sunday against San Francisco because of his thigh injury. "I feel like with the next four or five days, I'll make enough progress to play. I have every intention of playing and starting Sunday, and helping us win. So barring no setbacks, I'll be playing."

Things aren't as clear cut at quarterback, where Marc Bulger is trying to work his way back to game readiness after suffering a bruised rotator cuff Sept. 27 against Green Bay. Last week, Bulger had test results sent to noted orthopedic surgeon James Andrews for a second opinion on his injured right shoulder.

"He concurred with what the Rams staff said, and we've been treating it according to their diagnosis," Bulger said. "There's no structural damage. The ligament's intact. So it was all muscle strains and bruising, things like that. It doesn't make it less painful, but it's sound, which is good." Meanwhile, offensive tackle Jason Smith had his first practice reps since suffering a knee injury in the first half Sept. 20 at Washington. However, it still looks like Alex Barron will be the starter at left tackle and Adam Goldberg the starter at right tackle against Minnesota. Smith's reps Wednesday were sprinkled in at various times at both tackle spots.
